FT Island to release new mini-album ‘Beautiful Journey’

After officially debuting in Japan last May, K-pop boy band FT Island is returning to the K-pop music scene with a new mini-album on Aug. 26.
FT Island – composed of Lee Hongki, Lee Jae Jin, Choi Jung Hun, Choi Min Hwan and Song Seunghyun – will be focusing on their career in Korea after spending months in Japan.
According to their agency, FNC Music, the new album will highlight FT Island’s talent especially lead vocalist Lee Hongki’s powerful voice in the song “Love Love Love.”
Choi Jung Hun also took part in composing “Don Quixote’s Song.”
All the songs in the album will be released on Aug. 25 and the album will be on sale on Aug. 26.
FT Island will perform on KBS “Music Bank” on Aug. 27, their first appearance on a music show to promote the new album.
After going to the Philippines in March for their first ever FT Island Showcase, the idol group went to Japan to prepare for their major debut under Warner Music Japan.
In May, FT Island released their Japanese single “Flower Rock” which peaked at No. 3 on Japan’s Oricon Chart.
FT Island recently performed at the annual music festival “Summer Sonic” in Osaka, Japan which showcased singers like Taylor Swift, Stevie Wonder, Jay-Z, Smashing Pumpkins, and Funky Monkey Babys.
